• You can also copy your posts that might be of interest to them by finding who these "influentials" follow and copy your posts to those @twittername people too -- and including the hashtags such as #Obama these progressives follow. Remember, any tweet with their twitter name, such as @motherjones ,will also be read by their followers, but don't post off-topic by using an irrelevant hashtag or article replying to what they've said .
• One pointer: Find an opportunity to reply with your topic issues to what they're addressing online. But don't spam them by using the exact same language as others who are tweeting on your topic; modify it slightly..and don't repeatedly, by yourself or en masse, retweet the exact same post to the same influentials. It looks like a spam campaign that is sure to be a turn-off.

Did you or a child of yours go to the Vanguard School in Florida? A reporter wants to speak to you off the record or on the record about the school.

I'm a journalist and researcher looking into the successes, problems and failures that may occur in schools for people with learning disabilities and in programs for  young people grappling with emotional problems. I'm researching these issues for a book and a magazine article.
